Text poet/artist Mali Clements and I collaborated and performed at SJ Fowler’s Camaradefest ii along with 98 other poets all collaborating in pairs, at London’s Rich Mix. A superb day of experimental performances, which are all up on youtube.

The Sidemen and Vita Nova associate artists Paul Hawkins & Andrew McCutchion are really looking forward to working with Southdown Housing Association and providing a collaborative improvised soundscape to this event on May 18th as part of The Brighton Fringe Festival. Many thanks to Paul Richards for asking The Sidemen to collaborate on this exciting project. This performance event also coincides with Mental Health Awareness Week.

The Sidemen at Brighton Fringe Festival

The Sidemen ( thats me & Andrew McCutchion ) are pleased to announce we are performing during The Brighton Fringe Festival.
We are soundtracking and contributing to My Map of Brighton: a visual/audio map exploring the places that make us happy and be positive about mental health issues.
The map will be revealed through song, poetry, audio recordings and visuals.

This is a totally free event on May 18th @ Hove Methodist Church, 9 Portland Road, Hove BN3 5DR from 19.30. More details to follow.
